What Is The Best Carrier Oil?

A carrier oil is an important part of your essential oil routine. Pure essential oils are so concentrated you need something to dilute them and a carrier oil is the perfect way to do it. Carrier oils are the fatty oils derived from a seed, nut, or plant and are used so the essential oil can be absorbed into the skin. But did you know there are many oils to choose from? And not all oils are alike. Most people use coconut oil as their favorite carrier oil. It is a great choice because it has antimicrobial properties which makes it great for rashes, cuts, or fungus but it solidifies at room temperature which can make it hard for roll-on essential oils. Other choices are olive oil, grape seed oil, avocado oil, argan oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and more. Each oil has its own advantages or disadvantages. Some oils are great for dry or sensitive skin and some oils might make you break out because it is too oily. Some oils cost more than others and they each have different therapeutic values. Also, each oil has a different scent and is absorbed into the skin differently. So, there is a lot to think about when deciding what carrier oil to use. That is why TheraEssentials is very strategic in deciding to use jojoba oil as their carrier oil in their Hemp Essential Oil Roll-On Line.

Jojoba oil’s composition is the closest to our sebum; the oil secreted naturally from our bodies than any other oil. It is very moisturizing without being greasy. Jojoba oil has vitamin A and vitamin E, it doesn’t solidify at room temperature and it is anti-inflammatory. Jojoba oil is a wax extracted from a nut of a shrub. Because it is a wax it has a much longer shelf life and doesn’t go rancid very quickly which can shorten the life of your essential oil roll-on. Jojoba oil is great for all skin types overall odorless.

TheraEssentials Nausea Relief, Sleep Aid, Headache Relief, Stress Relief, and Immune Boost Roll-Ons all have 100% Organic Jojoba oil. Each roll-on is created specifically with essential oils and jojoba oil to help soothe these discomforts in an easy to use roll-on.
